If you're keen to take your pottery skills to the next level, come along and xpress your creativity with clay in a fun and friendly environment. During this workshop session, you will be introduced to throwing large vessels, on the potter’s wheel, starting off with a demonstration from your tutor Ronaldo Wiltshire.

You'll then try your hand as you get to grips with a larger piece than you may be used to - it's a brilliant way to build your confidence!

You'll have Ronaldo's expert tips and advice on hand throughout the class, and you'll leave with a whole host of new skills that you'll be eager to try out. Your finished piece will then be trimmed, glazed and fired, ready to collect 4-6 weeks after the class.

This course is suitable for those at an intermediate level who would like to improve their throwing skills whilst building their confidence in creating large pieces.

I am a ceramic artist working and living in London. I am a tutor at Morley North Kensington College and I also run ceramic workshops from my studio in northwest London. In January 2020 I was a participant in the Great Pottery Throw Down which aired on Channel 4 -- it was a fantastic experience!

I have always had a great passion for art! As an artist, I create functional and decorative ceramic art. Most of my pieces are glazed using my own recipes, often inspired by the colours in the countryside of Barbados where I grew up.
