Guided by pottery expert Ronaldo Wiltshire, you'll enjoy a combination of deft demonstrations and hands-on practice as you learn to throw clay on the potter's wheel. You'll experience the soothing act of transforming the raw clay using your hands, seeing your creations take shape before your eyes.

From bowls to small vases, you'll have plenty of opportunities to use your imagination to create ceramic pieces with your own personal touch. Don't worry if this is your first time trying pottery, as you'll have all the support you need from Ronaldo, who'll make sure you're getting the hang of things.

Whether you're coming along on your own or bringing a few friends for some creative clay play, you'll leave the class filled with new inspiration.

Please note: Your ceramic pieces will be trimmed, glazed and fired, ready for collection from the studio in 4-6 weeks.

I am a ceramic artist working and living in London. I am a tutor at Morley North Kensington College and I also run ceramic workshops from my studio in northwest London. In January 2020 I was a participant in the Great Pottery Throw Down which aired on Channel 4 -- it was a fantastic experience!

I have always had a great passion for art! As an artist, I create functional and decorative ceramic art. Most of my pieces are glazed using my own recipes, often inspired by the colours in the countryside of Barbados where I grew up.
