You will be guided by a friendly and experienced teacher who will show you how to use fixed and handheld machinery safely and effectively. You will practise skills such as jointing, gluing, clamping, sanding, routing, sawing and oiling, all the time working with high-quality materials and tools to ensure a smooth and satisfying result.
By the end of the workshop, you will feel confident and inspired by your own abilities. You'll also have a gorgeous table top that you can attach to a frame or legs of your choice.

Richard has been teaching this intro class since 2018 after realising that all the challenges of working with epoxy resin were bound to be frustrating aspiring makers around the world as much as they were for him. After realising that working with epoxy resin was actually quite easy once you knew a few simple tricks and the basic principles, he started inviting you to join him in the workshop to master the tricks of the trade for yourself.

Thoroughly enjoyed this class! The teaching was informative, and the tools/materials available worked perfectly.
It was great having access to some of the high-end power tools and nice to have a finished piece to take home. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in sharpening their carpeting skills.

I had a great experience making a small wooden top with Dan. He taught some essential skills necessary to make your own wooden pieces, and how to shape corners and edges. Very good stuff.
