What you'll do
If you've tried this teacher's previous class and you want to finish your piece to a professional standard, this is the workshop for you. You will flatten, sand, polish and cut your board into two coasters. This workshop will include sanders, drum machinery, router tables and chop saws. you will have the opportunity to use Festool power tools and will learn the fundamentals of finishing epoxy resin work.
If you want to start making your own resin projects such as river tables, live edge artwork, live edge furniture or epoxy resin coatings, then this is the perfect place to come and learn how to give your work the perfect finish!
Please note: The class will cover a finish of 320g and will only cover the theory behind gloss finish resin work.
NB: We do not accept entry to our classes 15 minutes after the listed start date. This is to ensure our students have a lesson without disruption once the class has started.

What you'll get
All materials and tools to finish your work from the first part of this course.
What to bring
An apron, tools, and materials will be provided, but we do recommend you wear old clothes. Additionally, feel free to bring a water bottle or any refreshments you prefer.We will meet in the Atrium just to the left of the vehicle gates upon entering Thames Side Studios. There is free parking on site, within the gated area, just drive up to the gates and you will be let in. Alternatively, Woolwich Dockyard station is about 10-15 minutes away by foot. Greenwich station is also close by with bus routes taking you close to our studio. Please bear in mind that we are situated within the ULEZ. This might incur a charge depending on what type or age of your vehicle you drive.

Richard has been teaching this intro class since 2018 after realising that all the challenges of working with epoxy resin were bound to be frustrating aspiring makers around the world as much as they were for him. After realising that working with epoxy resin was actually quite easy once you knew a few simple tricks and the basic principles, he started inviting you to join him in the workshop to master the tricks of the trade for yourself.
