What you'll do
Whether you're keen to make something stunning to display in your home or you want to try a satisfying new craft, get to grips with exopy resin art at this workshop in London.
In this workshop, you will learn all about epoxy resin and how to use it with timber. Get creative and pour your very own unique live edge river pour.
Designed for first time epoxy users, your teachers will share their expertise and hard-earned secrets with you as you create a beautiful river-inspired piece of art using epoxy resin and timber.
If you want to start making your own resin projects such as river tables, live edge artwork, live edge furniture or even epoxy resin coatings, then this is the class for you! And don't fret if you've never tried anything like this before, as you'll have the full support of your teachers throughout.
Please note: Epoxy resin takes about 7 days to fully dry and so you will not be able to leave with your piece on the day. You can collect your piece from the teacher once it's ready.

What you'll get
All materials and tools to make a live-edge river pour piece of resin art to be collected in approximately 7 days.
What to bring
Aprons will be provided but please wear old clothes. Additionally, feel free to bring a water bottle or any refreshments you prefer.We will meet in the Atrium just to the left of the vehicle gates upon entering Thames Side Studios. There is free parking on site, within the gated area, just drive up to the gates and you will be let in. Alternatively, Woolwich Dockyard station is about 10-15 minutes away by foot. Greenwich station is also close by with bus routes taking you close to our studio. Please bear in mind that we are situated within the ULEZ. This might incur a charge depending on what type or age of your vehicle you drive.
Suitable for
This class is perfect for beginners - no prior experience is needed.
Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 16 years old).
An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

Richard has been teaching this intro class since 2018 after realising that all the challenges of working with epoxy resin were bound to be frustrating aspiring makers around the world as much as they were for him. After realising that working with epoxy resin was actually quite easy once you knew a few simple tricks and the basic principles, he started inviting you to join him in the workshop to master the tricks of the trade for yourself.
