What you'll do
Create your own resin and wood coffee table in this resin art course in London. You will learn how to set up the mould, prepare the waney edge wood, mix colours and pour resin to make a stunning piece of furniture. Don’t worry if you have never worked with resin or wood before. Your teachers will guide you through every step of the process and answer any questions you may have along the way. You'll have fun experimenting with different colours and designs to suit your style. You will also get to work with high-quality materials and tools in a spacious studio in South East London.

What you'll get
All materials and tools to make a resin and waney-edge wood coffee table to take home with you.
What to bring
An apron, tools, and materials will be provided, but we do recommend you wear old clothes. Additionally, feel free to bring a water bottle or any refreshments you prefer.We will meet in the Atrium just to the left of the vehicle gates upon entering Thames Side Studios. There is free parking on site, within the gated area, just drive up to the gates and you will be let in. Alternatively, Woolwich Dockyard station is about 10-15 minutes away by foot. Greenwich station is also close by with bus routes taking you close to our studio. Please bear in mind that we are situated within the ULEZ. This might incur a charge depending on what type or age of your vehicle you drive.

Richard has been teaching this intro class since 2018 after realising that all the challenges of working with epoxy resin were bound to be frustrating aspiring makers around the world as much as they were for him. After realising that working with epoxy resin was actually quite easy once you knew a few simple tricks and the basic principles, he started inviting you to join him in the workshop to master the tricks of the trade for yourself.
