What you'll do
Fresh pasta is a delight and learning to make it is a life skill that stays with you. During this pasta making class in Manchester, you'll explore all things pasta, learning to make your own pasta to enjoy.
Guided by your expert chef teacher, you'll learn to make, mix and knead pasta dough, you'll be shown a variety of rolling, filling and shaping techniques and your tutor will demonstrate a host of delicious accompanying sauce recipes. You'll learn to make a standard egg pasta as well as a delightfully different beetroot infused version.
This cooking class in Manchester is a lovely afternoon treat, culminating in a delightful dinner prepared by you!
Sophia Loren once said, ‘everything you see I owe to spaghetti.’ Whilst we can’t promise you a glittering career in Hollywood after this pasta class, we can promise that you will learn how to make Italy’s staple food by hand and using some traditional kit.
Your expert chef tutor will show you how to mix, knead, bash, squash and shape your pasta dough into several of the most popular varieties – spaghetti, farfalle and ravioli.
It’s hungry work making pasta so during your cooking class there will be a delicious opportunity to eat some of your hard work. Your chef usually likes to demo a sauce to impress to go with your pasta creations. Buon appetite!
By the end of your pasta class, you'll have made and eaten some delicious pasta, you'll have some new cooking skills for life and you'll have some carb-tastic dishes to take home with you to enjoy later!
