Are you fond of flatbreads and delighted by sourdough? Embrace your inner baker and learn how to whip up the perfect loaf at this cosy bread making class held in a beautiful old mill. It's a slice of rustic heaven!
You'll spend a happy few hours in a professional kitchen, immersed in all things bread-baking, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Pennine Hills near Manchester. Led by a professional chef, you'll learn how to make three different types of bread; a traditional yeasted loaf, a fabulous soda bread and a super quick and easy flatbread. Your talented teacher will stay on hand throughout the whole session, so you can be sure you won't be defeated by difficult dough!
At the end of the baking class, you'll have three delicious loaves to take home and plenty of fresh new cooking skills under your belt, so you'll be able to continue your yeast-filled journey at home!

All ingredients and take away containers are provided, we also provide aprons for you to wear.

Located in a former textiles mill in the beautiful rolling Pennine hills, Saddleworth Cookery School is a relaxing and inspiring learning space whilst providing the latest equipment. Our friendly atmosphere will soon have you fully immersed and surprising yourself with your newfound kitchen skills!

We are also proud to support our local suppliers, using high-quality ingredients and seasonal produce. Alongside this, we also use Fairtrade ingredients where possible and consider sustainability and the environmental impact of the processes and logistics of our recipes and food.
