Mindful Cooking Class

Get better at life through your kitchen.

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 16     label £75

Learn to combine mindfulness practise with cooking or baking for your new favourite therapeutic experience.

Is this for you?

This class is for you if you often feel stressed, overwhelmed or frustrated. If you wish to incorporate more effortless self-care and 'You' time into your routine, but lack the time or are not sure where and how to start. It's also for you if you've tried meditation and relaxation techniques but are struggling.

What to expect:

Leave your day behind and immerse yourself in the design and preparation of delicious personalised dishes in a whole new way. What you'll create will undoubtedly taste fantastic, but more than that, this class aims to help you explore how individual steps and techniques of specific recipes have the power to shift your mood and headspace. Imagine it all as a fun cook-along with a handful of mystery ingredients and plenty of flavouring and finishing variations to make your dish uniquely your own.

In my classes, you will learn how to zoom in on your kitchen routine and enhance everything you do with a touch of intentional mindfulness. Engage all your senses and reconnect with yourself through the work of your hands. Focus your mind and learn to use cooking as a means to unwind, decompress, disrupt or filter your thought processes.

Everything you learn you can then use as easy effective self-help tools whenever, wherever and for free.

Choose from two themes:

  • Mindful Cooking Foundations Class: discover the basics of mindfulness in cooking and prepare a chicken shawarma dish with vibrant herby couscous and warm vegetable salad.
  • Child's Play Class: build on the principles you've learned in the Foundations class and nourish your inner child whilst creating a colourful nutritious mezze spread.

The classes are great one-on-one, for individuals, couples or as a group booking. Having said that, the aim is for everyone to indulge in a little 'Me' time.

Classes are great as a gift for your partner, friend, parent. They work lovely as a date night idea and can be modified to suit any birthday, hen or stag plans as well.

Mindful Cooking Class location
Your teacher

I teach mindfulness in cooking, baking and all things kitchen.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned cook, with my guidance we will transform your raw mechanical kitchen time into sizzling therapeutic ME time.

I am a joyful, kind and friendly human. Professional chef, former project and event manager, advertiser, TV reporter. I've had years of my home kitchen saving my mood and sanity. Having learned a thing or two from professional chefs and personal coaches, I now share with you my way to cook with a new intent - so that mindful meal preparation can up the quality of your life from day one.

Together we will use techniques and recipes to help you unwind, release, zone out, revive, create, boost, reconnect. You will stir, whisk, knead, mix and fold your way towards more joy, patience, resilience, precision, confidence, creativity and inner peace. I will give you simple and efficient self help tools that you can then use whenever, wherever and for free.
