Looking to freshen up your recipe repertoire? Come along to this hands-on Vietnamese cooking class and enjoy cheffing up flavourful food from scratch.
A unique blend of Chinese and French style, Vietnamese food is greatly admired for its fresh and fragrant flavour but as well as its flavour, it also boasts health properties. Naturally low in dairy and fat, Vietnamese cooking is the perfect way to make healthy food without sacrificing taste.
Let your friendly teacher and expert chef divulge their tops tricks and techniques for making high-quality Vietnamese at home as you cook along with them. Enjoy munching as you cook and savouring all the enticing aromas filling the air.
Examples of what you might cook:
- Chicken Pho - Fragrant and aromatic chicken broth served with rice noodles and tender pieces of chicken.
- Cà-ri - Rich, fragrant Vietnamese curry with veggies and mushrooms, topped with nuts & served with broken rice.
- Lemongrass shrimp over rice vermicelli and vegetables (Bun Tom Nuong Xa).
- Pickled carrot and daikon salad - crunchy and perfectly pickled carrot and daikons.
At the end of this beginner-friendly class, you'll have a delicious array of fresh, flavourful and healthy Vietnamese food to enjoy or take home. You'll head off not only with a full belly of nourishing and warming food but also with the skills to make more!
