During the candle making workshop, you will be guided step-by-step through the process of making your own natural candle by Lizzy, the owner of Cedar.

Every Cedar workshop offers you a chance to explore the world of natural essential oils, aromatherapy, and the art of candle making. The sessions include an introduction to fragrance notes, the myriad benefits of essential oils and guidance on how to blend the perfect scent. You’ll then create your own personalised candle to take home with you and enjoy.

You'll also pick up all the skills you need to continue this soothing hobby yourself at home, as well as top tips on the best places to find supplies. Don't worry if you've never tried candle making before, as Lizzy will be on hand throughout the session to offer the benefit of her experience, ensuring you leave with the candle of your dreams.

Lizzy's love for candles and their therapeutic benefits became the foundation of Cedar. In 2018, she decided to share moments of calm with others and hasn't looked back since. With its own dedicated studio space, an evolving range of handmade products, and over 5 years of hosting candle making workshops, Cedar has become a symbol of tranquility and self-care.

In 2023 after completing a diploma in product formulation, Lizzy launched Cedar Apothecary as a sister offering to Cedar, expanding her workshop repertoire. This dedicated space is where we delve into the realm of natural skincare and home fragrances.
