Do you want to learn the basics of glass bead making? Come along to this glass bead making class in a North London glass studio and make your own glass beads from scratch. You can choose your own colours as your talented teacher shows you how to melt glass rods over a flame, experiment with various decorative techniques, and finally create a cute mushroom bead to take home with you.

Please note:

The studio is 5 minutes walk from East Finchley tube station or parking is available if you are coming by car.
Your glass will have to be annealed overnight in the digitally controlled kiln and either collected at a later date or posted out to you at cost.

Knowledge required

No prior experience required.

Hello,

I'm a glassblower with a studio in London. I fell in love with hot glass during a taster session on her BA hons course.

After graduating I worked in several glass studios and attended classes at Pilchuck and Haystack in the US. In 2000 I did an MA at the Royal College of Art.

Hot glass is an amazing creative outlet, I love sharing the joy of working with this fantastic material.
