Each station had a footstool base and a kit bag with all the equipment needed, including aprons, gloves, glue guns, staple guns, fabric shears, and more. Ruth took time to explain how the bases were made and the benefits of the materials she’d used. It was a lovely touch to learn that she and her husband make them by hand. The class was split into easy-to-follow stages, with Ruth demonstrating each step and then walking around as we tried it ourselves, offering help and tips along the way. She was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced — there wasn’t a single problem she couldn’t come up with a solution for. My partner and I were really pleased with the stools we made. They look absolutely amazing, and we’re genuinely proud of them. The class is an ideal activity for couples, friends, or even solo.
