The teacher was lovely and shared lots of helpful information, with an excellent demonstration that made everything easy to follow. There was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and good-quality equipment to work with. The great coffee was a nice bonus too! A wonderful experience that I’d happily recommend.

I was a bit nervous about getting on the wheel, but Linda made the whole process feel so approachable and stress-free. She is incredibly patient, breaks down the techniques perfectly, and is right there to help you centre your clay when it gets wobbly. The studio has a wonderful, relaxed vibe decorated with beautiful fairy lights & stunning pottery - Linda even treated us to delicious homemade muffins & coffee, which made the experience feel so welcoming and special. I walked out so proud of the pieces I spun and can't wait to book my next session. 10/10 for the whole experience & a quick mention to Duncan for his input too.

It is a great set up and so personalised even down to the hot drinks and cake on arrival and drinks throughout the class. Linda and Duncan compared and encouraging and I made pottery that I can actually use and be proud off. Will definitely book more classes. Thank you Linda and Duncan

• 5/5 from Lynne Jordan, attended Aug 2026: Having received a pottery wheel for my birthday along with some clay a few years ago, I was delighted at finding Linda's taster workshop whilst scrolling through Facebook. Myself and two friends came along and were made most welcome by Linda and her husband, who was also on hand. Linda demonstrated & explained what she was doing - she made it look so easy! Her enthusiasm was contagious! We learnt how to centre the clay on the wheel - how to open it & pull the clay & the techniques & procedures involved in making a receptacle (of some sort)... ("anchor Lynne!") She was hands on - explained & demonstrated the processes & how to rectify any issues. The atmosphere was very relaxed and great fun. We came away buzzing from a really pleasant afternoon & had all made something that was worth keeping. We are going back in a couple of weeks time to pick up our pieces. The two hours flew by in no time. I'd be delighted to attend another of her classes - and I can't wait to get my wheel back out!

Two pals in complete focus, attention, with great support, lots of laughs and multiple attempts at creations, some even recognisable! Great setting in Linda's cosy workshop. Linda is a terrific teacher and champion of all attempts! A perfect pause and relax from busy worlds for a few hours. Would highly recommend.
