What you'll do

In this hands-on class, you'll learn how to build your own living ecosystem, filled with beautiful plants to take home with you.

Guided by the PlantMama herself, you will be taken through the entire terrarium making process, learning lots of valuable tips on plant care in the process. A really fun and creative experience for anyone looking for fun things to do in Glasgow, your completed terrarium will look wonderful at your bedside or on a desk or coffee table.

Really enjoyed the class, everything was well explained and there was lots of variety in the plants etc. for you to choose from and plenty to round. If you’re interested in plants or simply want to try something a bit different then I’d thoroughly recommend giving this a go!

I had a brilliant time at the closed terrarium workshop! It was in a lovely inspiring space and I learned a lot about how to make and look after my little eco system. Such a friendly and welcoming experience for a novice plant lover! Would highly recommend and may buy as a gift for my friends and family. It would be great for a group!

The class was very informative, clearly explained and shown what to do. The girl doing the workshop was very friendly and happy to help with any queries. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Everything we needed was provided and clear instructions on how to care for the terrarium afterwards. I would thoroughly recommend this workshop to any plant lover.

Booked a private class for a friends hen party and it was brilliant! Emma was lovely, and really informative during the class and we were given plenty of advice for after care too. It was a lovely afternoon doing the closed top terrarium workshop. Emma was so welcoming and the class was really informative and interesting. The shop has a lovely atmosphere and very calming and welcoming.
All the tools and plants etc were provided to make the terrarium and with Emma’s guidance and advice I made a beautiful terrarium. I love it and so pleased with it! Thank you for an excellent afternoon and beautiful terrarium

This was a great class. I had all my questions answered and learned everything I needed (and more) to make my own closed top terrariums. The teacher was very helpful and knowledgeable, the venue was great and the materials provided were excellent, a sizeable good quality jar and great looking plants. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This was a wonderful workshop! Our instructor was lovely and really knowledgeable. There was a great selection of plants to use in the terrarium, plenty of advice on how to display them and keep them healthy too. Location is great either for public transport or driving, really recommend this!
