In this exciting painting class, you will have the opportunity to learn three different acrylic skills from popular artists Brian Smith RI, Stephen Lees, and Marilyn Allis. Overlooking the beautiful sea, you will create stunning artworks inspired by the coastal surroundings. Throughout the workshop, you will gain insight into various techniques and styles, allowing you to take home unique and beautiful pieces of art.
Don't worry if you're a beginner! This workshop is designed for all levels, and our experienced artists will guide you every step of the way. Whether you're new to watercolour painting or looking to enhance your skills, this class will provide a supportive and inspiring environment for you to explore your creativity.
  • Daily coffee and tea breaks will keep you refreshed and energized.
  • Studios open until 10pm for extra painting time or relaxation in the hotel bar.
  • Free Wi-Fi and parking for your convenience.

Marilyn Allis is a talented watercolour artist with a loose and impressionistic style. Marilyn loves to use strong vibrant colours to capture the movement and the energy of a scene.
Working mainly in watercolour, but also acrylic inks and mixed media, Marilyn won the SAA artist of the year title in 1999. She has exhibited at the RI in the Mall galleries’ and appeared on Channel 4’s watercolour challenge.
