  • Watercolour paints (colours needed: alizarin crimson, turquoise, burnt sienna, burnt umber, ultramarine blue, cobalt blue, Prussian blue, light red, rich sepia.)
  • Kitchen roll.
  • Hair dryer (optional.)

Marilyn Allis is a talented watercolour artist with a loose and impressionistic style. Marilyn loves to use strong vibrant colours to capture the movement and the energy of a scene.
Working mainly in watercolour, but also acrylic inks and mixed media, Marilyn won the SAA artist of the year title in 1999. She has exhibited at the RI in the Mall galleries’ and appeared on Channel 4’s watercolour challenge.
