On the hunt for some DIY home decor that stands out? Design your own glass art of three cute fish. Ideal for any artist looking for a new hobby or a gift experience to the sea-lovers out there who want to spruce up their bathroom shelves.

Never tried glass crafts before? Have no fear! A talented and supportive teacher will guide you from start to finish, always on hand to answer questions and help you come up with design ideas.

Learn how to cut sheet glass safely and use a template to create three fish in your chosen colour scheme. Let your creative side take over as you add in some personal decorations. You'll then finish it off with your choice of mount or a hook.

Your three fish and the wire keeping them together will then be fired in the glass fusing kiln at 745c for around 22 hours. Once this is over they'll be ready to collect and take home.

Overlooking the English Channel with views of Looe Island in one direction and Rame Head peninsular in the other, The Glass Shack is situated in a stunning location on the South East Coast of Cornwall.

Having spent most of her working life in corporate finance and business management, Caroline came to work with glass later in life but immediately knew it would be where her future would lie. Mostly self-taught, learning through experimentation and trial and error, she is now happily working alongside her husband, Steve, the “woodmaster” who sources and prepares all the wood bases for the glass pieces.
