What you'll do
If you've got the perfect idea for a piece of fused glass art or you want to try your hand at a creative new craft, this fused glass class could be just the thing for you.
You'll learn how to cut glass, discover shapes that can be easily made and build beautiful glass pieces, all under the guidance of a local glass guru!
All you need is an idea of what you'd like to create, and your teacher will help you make it, fire it in a glass fusing kiln and have it ready for you to collect a few days later. You can also choose from standard templates available and apply the skills and techniques you'll learn to add unique touches.
Got a hen party to organise and want to do something a bit different? Or maybe you need fun group activities to try with your gang? This half-day workshop is a surefire way to enjoy a creative few hours with your loved ones as you get to grips with the fun of fused glass!

- Some items require more than one firing so can take up to five days before they are ready to collect.
- If you would like to make something that is slightly out of the norm, either design or size-wise, then we can discuss this prior to the workshop.
- Making custom pieces may incur a glass/kiln time surcharge.

Having spent most of her working life in corporate finance and business management, Caroline came to work with glass later in life but immediately knew it would be where her future would lie. Mostly self-taught, learning through experimentation and trial and error, she is now happily working alongside her husband, Steve, the “woodmaster” who sources and prepares all the wood bases for the glass pieces.
