What you'll do
Don't fancy trekking around the coast in all weathers? Then join Julie at the stunning historic Camelot Hotel in Tintagel and learn how to take great photos inside instead!
After being amazed by the fascinating lobby space with its quirky art, photos, and crystals, we will go through to our reserved area in the lounge. You will choose from the extensive tea and coffee menu, and we will start the session with a cream tea or coffee and cake.
They have gluten-free options and every combination of tea and coffee possible, but please let me know beforehand if you have any particular requirements or allergies. In case of any severe allergies or dietary requirements, you can contact the hotel directly to confirm with them.
While waiting for the drinks to arrive, we will talk through your smartphone camera settings and tips for composition and how to take great photos. We will take Instagram-worthy photos of our food and drinks. Then, you will wander around the tea rooms and beautiful interior of the hotel, putting your newfound photography skills to the test. We will finish our session by looking at Snapseed, a free editing tool, to give your pictures some added zing.
A fun and friendly introduction to your camera phone with insider tips and know-how to take great shots in a glorious setting.
Initial coffee/cake is included in the price. Any additional food and drink purchases will be at your own expense.
The hotel is privately owned, and there are some restricted areas which I will make you aware of, so please respect the owners' living space by not entering or photographing those areas. In addition, any photographs taken are for personal use only and must not be used for any form of commercial use.
Great for travel, food, or interiors bloggers, or just if you want to take better photos inside (without having to worry about the changeable Cornish weather!).
