1.5 hours Class size 2 to 6     label £30

Discover a new skill and learn how to make your own garland of abstract glass bunting at this beginner-friendly fused glass class!

You'll connect with a local glass expert, ready to share years of experience and professional tips and tricks before you begin to score and break glass to form any pattern you want.

You will use a clear base piece of glass and add your own pattern designs using glass shapes, frit and an assortment of beads to create a custom design and choice of colours. It's a brilliant experience to enjoy with friends and will blow your usual birthday party ideas and fun group activities out of the water!

As your workshop draws to a close, you'll leave your pieces to be fired by your teacher in the glass fusing kiln, ready to collect and display within a couple of days.

Please note:
Each bunting flag is 7cm x 9cm and you can make up to five pieces depending on your progress in the workshop.

Overlooking the English Channel with views of Looe Island in one direction and Rame Head peninsular in the other, The Glass Shack is situated in a stunning location on the South East Coast of Cornwall.

Having spent most of her working life in corporate finance and business management, Caroline came to work with glass later in life but immediately knew it would be where her future would lie. Mostly self-taught, learning through experimentation and trial and error, she is now happily working alongside her husband, Steve, the “woodmaster” who sources and prepares all the wood bases for the glass pieces.
