Are you a sushi lover ready to take your skills to the next level? Join us for a fun and delicious cookery class where you'll master the essentials of incredible sushi!
We'll start with the foundation – perfect sushi rice. Then, get ready to roll! Learn how to create classic Hosomaki rolls, the exciting inside-out Uramaki, and adorable, colourful Temari Sushi.
You'll be guided by Chef Arti who is passionate about sharing the art of sushi making. Discover the joy of working with fresh ingredients and bringing these delightful Japanese dishes to life. By the end of this class, you'll have the skills to wow your friends and family with your homemade sushi creations.

Hi, My name is Arti. I am a cookery tutor, private chef and food Presenter. My business name is Arti-Cooks (https://arti-cooks.com/).I have worked full-time at the School Of Wok, one of Europe's only Award Winning Asian and Oriental Cookery Schools. Before that I taught Parent and Children's Cookery Classes in West London for a company called 'Chefs in the Mix.' I am also a Graduate of the Leiths School of Food and Wine and I have a 'Level 3 Food Hygiene and Safety in Catering certificate, ' a 'Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety in Catering certificate, ' as well as a 'Food Allergen Awareness Certificate. '
I have also worked at the Ivy restaurant and I have assisted in teaching apprentice chefs at the Wagamama chain of restaurants along with a a company called Lifetime training(the Uk's leading apprenticeship training provider). I have worked for Gully Indian street food which is an award winning producer of Indian Food. And I have also taught Indian, Thai, Indo-Chinese, Indian Street food, Chinese Food and Parent and Child Cookery Classes at the Lyric Hammersmith.
I have also taught cookery at the Richmond and Hillcroft Adult education college and assisted in teaching at the Borough kitchen in Chiswick. Furthermore, I currently teach year 8, 9 and 10 students at the Channing School for girls in London and I also teach their sixth form students recipes that will help them when they move on to University. I have an enhanced DBS certificate and an 'Introduction to safeguarding, ' certificate.
The types of food I love to teach are Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Pakistani Indonesian, Singaporean. Malaysian, Korean and Taiwanese food. I also teach healthy meal prep. I can also teach you knife skills and how to use and take care of your Wok and Bamboo Steamers and Cleavers. I can impart a knowledge of Indian Spices and Chinese and Thai Ingredients. I also cook meals for the health conscious.
