If you've ever looked at stunning displays of multicoloured macarons and wanted to make them for yourself, this patisserie class in Cambridge is for you! Hosted by experienced baker Corinne at her cosy home kitchen, you'll learn how to make mouthwatering macarons that any patissier would be proud of.

Macarons: beautiful, delicate little morsels that were Marie Antoinette’s favourite indulgence. These little treats look beautiful and can take a vast array of colours and flavours, and this beginner-friendly class puts them well within your reach.

Corinne will share her expertise to help take the mystery out of macaron making, teaching you her fool-proof recipe, and taking you through the steps from French meringue to macaronage, via a variety of delicious fillings and flavour options. Don't worry if you've no previous experience, as you'll have Corinne's full support throughout the class.

At the end of your experience, you'll have picked up a wealth of new baking and patisserie skills, and you'll have a colourful box of your own macarons to take home with you.

My passion for cooking comes from my childhood. I was born on the island of Réunion, a small French colony off the coast of Madagascar. Although my parents moved to France when I was very small, the spirit of the island was very much alive in our home, and especially in our kitchen.

I love introducing a touch of sunshine into my cooking and often add tropical flavours from Réunion to my desserts to give a vibrant twist to the elegant French classics. All the recipes used at Gourmandises Académie are my own, and each one has been developed with time and a lot of love. I’m so happy to have been recognised with three stars in the prestigious Great Taste Awards.

I am excited to share some of these recipes with you and look forward to welcoming you into my home as a student of the Gourmandises Académie.
