Looking for a general overview of floristry and have no idea what course you really need or want to do? Our popular one-day beginner's floristry taster is designed to introduce you to floristry with lots of practice during the day.

During this Cambridge floristry class, you will create a hand-tied bouquet using biodegradable packaging, a buttonhole design and a seasonal arrangement in a bowl using chicken wire.

These are designs that you can replicate at home using flowers from your own garden or local flower market.

Looking for an experience day gift or a Mother's Day activity in Cambridge? Spend quality time with your favourite people surrounded by the smells and colours of nature!

What you'll get
  • The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage, wrappings and containers that you need to complete the item(s).
  • You will also be provided with tools to use during the day. If you wish to purchase tools, we have these available and can be purchased on the day.
What to bring

The Cambridge Flower School combines my two loves - floristry and teaching. Having owned and run a successful floristry business in Cambridgeshire and had a long career teaching graphics previously, I decided to do what I have also wanted to do - teach floristry. Making it fun, informal and really accessible for anyone who, just like me, realises that life is about experiencing as much as you can!
