  • 5/5 from Patricia Gonzalez, attended May 2025: Valeria was absolutely amazing!! We learned to make biscotti, pana cota with a delish orange salted caramel and a caprese cake. All was impeccably organised and ever so generous. She had made the best madeleines ever!! We had them with a cuppa. We got to take everything home and as soon as we got home asked the children and grandchildren to join us for a merienda with all our newly learned goodies. I highly highly highly recommend this course. I know now that she also teaches french pastries, italian cooking and pasta making so I will definitely be back for more. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Small group of 6 working in pairs. Welcomed with tea, coffee and homemade biscuits. Apron provided. Boxes & carrier given to take home all our goodies. Recipes emailed after the day. A very pleasant relaxing afternoon baking in lovely company. Would definitely do again next time I am in London.

Hi there, my name is Valeria Suppa, I'm an Italian baking teacher and food stylist based in London. I started as a self-taught baker, before receiving my professional training and working as a baker and cake decorator in a bespoke cakes parlour. My expertise ranges from cakes to patisserie and desserts of all sorts, with a special focus on Italian baking.
I have years of experience teaching classes for all levels, both in-person and online. I always try to make every baking experience entertaining and informative at the same time.
During the last 13 years, I've lived in different countries around Europe and South America, learning a lot about different techniques, new ingredients and unusual flavour combinations. I speak fluent English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
