What you'll do
Join this exciting cake decorating class in London where you will learn how to make a fabulous pink gingerbread house that will impress everyone. This workshop covers a variety of techniques from moulding techniques to using plunge cutters. By the end of this activity, you'll be able to design your own cakes and cupcakes, making you a pro in sugarcraft decorating.
Don't worry if you're a beginner, this class is designed for you! Your teacher will give you an insight into each step of the process, one at a time. You'll be surprised at how easy and fun it is to mould and sculpt 3D fondant figures and create a 3D Christmas tree.
During the class, you'll discover how to use edible construction glue and ruffle fondant to create a realistic wooden texture. You'll learn how to create a fondant door and window and dress it with delicate miniature fondant details that will bring your design to life.
At the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with a stunning pastel pink gingerbread house, a range of new cake decorating skills, newfound confidence, and a well-deserved Lady Berry Cupcakes certificate of completion. I have been teaching students from around the world for over 8 years. Helping students to bring their bakes to life with a range of fondant design skills and techniques. Many know how to bake but struggle a little with taking their bakes to that next level with fondant skills such as sugar flowers, fondant animals and sugar lace.
With a background in art and art psychology I often refer to my classes as cupcake therapy! It's fun, relaxing and allows you to develop your creativity. My passion for not only designing cupcake art but my love of teaching has led me to teach over 5000 students world wide. Students from Australia, Iran, Brazil, America, Mexico, India and beyond!
