Fun Fluid Art classes in London
Take a load off your mind and explore your creativity in 2026 with a mesmerising fluid art class in London! Hosted by a local art expert, you’ll learn how to get started with sensationally soothing acrylic pouring. Whether you’re joining in with a public class, organising a uniquely relaxing team building experience or planning a birthday surprise for the art lover in your life, you’ll discover new techniques to help spark your imagination and centre yourself through this hypnotic art. Switch off, forget your worries and start filling your home with handmade art today!
Fluid art for beginners
Whether you’re an interior design guru, an art aficionado or are just looking for fun things to do in London, paint pouring is a brilliant way to get your creative fix. Where traditional painting methods take a more structured approach, acrylic pouring is a freeform, sensory experience, where you control the flow of the paint to create gorgeous, undulating colourscapes. From canvases to hang on the wall to personalised home goods, it’s a fun, relaxing way to fill your space with colour.
Thanks to this new method of painting, it doesn’t matter if you’re a complete novice or a seasoned artist — you’ll be using simple, fun techniques to conjure up amazing abstract art. This hands-on medium also makes it a fantastic hobby to share with others — whether dad fancies himself the next Jackson Pollock or you’ve got some artistically-inclined friends, bring everyone along to a London acrylic pouring workshop, get your hands dirty and enjoy creating art together.
What to expect at London fluid art classes
To get you acquainted with the best pour painting techniques, your London paint pouring class will begin with some demos from your host, an experienced local artist. Walking you through the materials you’ll be using to create your masterpiece, they’ll show you how to make acrylic pouring medium for the perfect flow, before giving examples of ways to blend colours and manipulate the flow of the paint to create different dazzling effects in your own piece.
With your imagination fired up, it’ll be your turn to try this meditative activity for yourself. By going with the flow and mixing your favourite colours together, you’ll see hypnotic swirls of colour come to life before your eyes. Stuck in a bit of a creative rut? Your art expert will be on hand with different techniques to try, introducing new pouring methods to mix things up and help your creativity shine.
By the end of the class, you’ll be creatively rejuvenated and completely chilled out thanks to the satisfying sensations of pour painting. Not only that, but you’ll have some beautiful, unique abstract art to hang in your home, decorate your office space or give as a thoughtful gift to someone special!
Fluid art is great for your wellbeing
Being such a sensory, satisfying hobby, it should come as no surprise that acrylic pouring is a brilliant mood booster. The contemplative process of setting up the perfect pour with colours that speak to you is engaging and relaxing, making it a simple way to relieve the day’s stress.
Giving yourself over to the unpredictability of the technique is a fantastic way to explore your creativity, as you spot familiar shapes in the swirls of colour, giving you a deeper appreciation of the beauty of life — even in things we can’t control. Taking some time out for a creative pursuit is also a brilliant way to boost your focus, encourage empathy and appreciate the small things. Above all, paint pouring is fun — why not give it a go today?
