You’ll discover a wide range of design elements inspired by traditional Asian mandalas. By the end of the class, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to continue drawing mandalas whenever the fancy strikes you. Knowledge required
What to bring
  • Geometry compass.
  • Pencil.
  • Protractor.
  • 30 cm clear ruler (and ideally a shorter clear ruler too).
  • Rubber/Eraser.
  • Thick white paper (A4 size is ideal).
  • Smudge-proof fineliner pen (optional during class, but needed to complete the drawing).
  • I’d also recommend having either a cutting mat or an old magazine to place under your paper when you are using the compass so that you don’t make a hole in your table or desktop.

Your teacher

Hello! I'm an artist, writer and photographer living on the south coast of England. I started teaching mandala art online when we first went into lockdown as a great way to combat stress, anxiety and isolation. My classes are informal and fun, chatting as we draw.
I've been passionate about geometric patterns since I was young and studied Celtic Art while at art college.
Since April 2020, I've taught hundreds of people how to draw mandalas and my classes have been featured in the national press three times. I now also teach Celtic Knotwork and Arabic Geometric Art.
The feedback I have had from my students is wonderful. People who didn't think they could draw have found they can and I'm told my classes are particularly easy to follow. So why not give it a try!
