What you'll do
In this exciting online class, you will learn how to create stunning building portraits with just pencil and paper. No technical architectural skills needed! Instead, I will guide you through the process of transforming your drawing into a two-dimensional illustration that truly captures the essence of the building.
Don't worry if you're a beginner - this class is designed to be welcoming for all skill levels. I understand that starting something new can be intimidating, but fear not! I'll be there every step of the way to ensure you feel comfortable and supported.
You will be provided with a photograph of the building we will consider, so that you can print it out or have it handy on your phone during the lesson.
The material you will need is:
- an HB pencil
- a soft white eraser
- a ruler (not necessary)
- A4 paper (rough 300gsm is recommended if you want to paint on it later)
If you're eager to take your drawing to the next level by adding colour, you'll be pleased to know that painting lessons are also available. Simply let me know if you'd like to explore this option, and I'll be more than happy to arrange it for you.
