If you want some creative things to do when bored then try this art online class. You will learn how to draw a fun and imaginative comic.
Your talented teacher, Kev F, is experienced with comics and has created incredible art for Beano and Marvel! He can show you how to write and draw a fantastic comic.
In this live online class, you'll create your own characters and produce a page of comic strip. Together, you will all come up with a group comic cover which Kev will draw for you to take away. You will also get an individual caricature of everyone in the class!
Try this art workshop for a virtual party with your pals. It's is an incredible virtual experience that will make you laugh and give you a boost of positivity.
Suitable for pupils age 7 and upwards. All you need is paper and pencil (if you have a rubber, ruler, and felt pens, then that'd be great).
Knowledge required
No knowledge required, everyone is welcome from the total beginner to the practised artist.
What to bring

  • Black felt tip pen.

Kev F Sutherland is a comic writer and artist, working for everyone from Beano to Marvel & now publishing graphic novels adapted from Shakespeare.
His Comic Art Masterclass can teach anyone aged 7 and upwards how easy it is to do.
Kev has worked in comics for thirty years, from Doctor Who Magazine to Viz comic, from Oink to Red Dwarf, from The Dandy to Zig & Zog's Zogazine, and for Marvel he worked on Doctor Strange, Star Trek, Apocalypse 2099, and Werewolf By Night. In the 2000s he was the producer of the UK's Comic Festival and 2000AD's DreddCon.
In 2020 he published three graphic novels adapting Shakespeare into contemporary settings, with twists of his own making: Findlay Macbeth, The Prince of Denmark Street, and The Midsummer Night's Dream Team, all available in paperback.
