Learn to Draw and Hand Paint Stationery
We will explore your unique style and inspire you with Kathy's. We will create line drawings and practice laying out designs.
Exploring Colour
We will discover the kind of cards you want to create: botanicals, festive packs, birthday cards, love notes. Your pack includes 10 beautiful Fabriano cards to hand paint and you will have practice paper in your subscription box to experiment on.
Get Into the Groove
Now that you've found your style, we will meet every other week to paint together. We will create cards and if you're up for it, share your favourites on social media.

What you'll get in your craft kit
Guests receive a beautiful branded box with Fabriano card stock and envelopes. They will have the option of adding a full package chock-full of paint, brushes, and a micron pen.

What you'll need
Kathy uses a 0.005 black Micron pen and very fine Winsor & Newton Series Watercolour Brushes - sizes 0, 00, and 000. We recommend using something similar.For the paint, we recommend any beginner's watercolour or gouache set that includes white, black, cyan (blue), magenta (red), and yellow.- Glass for water (Kathy uses a jam jar).
- Container for colour mixing (Kathy uses egg cups or a palette - this can be plastic or porcelain).
- Paper towels
