What you'll do
Fill your day with Christmas cheer as you learn the secrets of Spanish churros that have a seasonal twist. Join talented teacher Tere near Canary Wharf to get your sweet-treat fix all on a quaint houseboat.
This wonderful baking class combines the festive flavours of gingerbread churros and mulled hot chocolate to create some of the best Spanish treats you've ever had. With Spanish Christmas songs playing throughout and the gentle rock of the Dutch houseboat on the river, this London experience is hard to beat!
With plenty of handy demonstrations and some opportunities to get hands-on with the dough, you will learn how churros are made and fried. You'll then move on to the chocolate sauce recipe as you stir in a little bit of yuletide magic and complete the dish.
You'll then be able to tuck into this seasonal, Spanish delight at the end of the class. Let your teacher know if you have any food allergies or intolerances when you book, and they can make some adjustments to fit your needs.
On the hunt for fun things to do in London this Christmas? Whether it's a winter date night or a family day out, this churro-making class is the best way to create lasting memories! Your teacher, Tere will take photos throughout the class and will send you a special collage of pics along with the recipe as a souvenir of the experience.
Please note:
- The teacher has a beautiful, fluffy and super friendly Ragdoll cat, if you are allergic to cats please consider this before booking for yourself or sharing it as a gift experience with friends.
- This is an unusual kitchen in a unique setting and not a large space as with business/catering kitchens, so the class is primarily to guide and inform guests with interaction and collaboration at certain stages of the cooking process.

Hello! We are Tere and Colin, also known by our friends as #Team TC! We are both artists, huge foodies and city lovers with a real passion for sharing experiences with students of all skill levels!
We are Londoners and love our city and where we live, which is on a cute houseboat in a fantastic, friendly and creative East London community. Colin is a full-time artist and shows his art regularly in London and at international art fairs while Tere studied art at the renowned Goldsmiths College and then worked for over 14 years in contemporary art galleries and design studios in London.
We are very sociable and love getting to know new people through hosting dinner parties and get-togethers. We regularly visit art galleries, music concerts, cinema and basically anything fun and cultural.
