Full Day Abstract Art Class in a Secret Studio

Tried all the usual London attractions and looking for something a little more unique? Dive into the amazing world of abstract imagery and create a handmade masterpiece with this beginner-friendly art class in London.

You'll be greeted by your expert teacher, Tere, at a meeting place in Hackney, East London and you'll enjoy a short walk to the quirky and bohemian secret studio where you'll be taking your art class. There'll be plenty of time to ask questions and take pictures on arrival at this unique bohemian space in a railway arch, ready to perfect your painting in a calming and quirky atmosphere.

After touring the studio, Tere will introduce you to artist Colin, who'll showcase some inspiring artwork and demonstrate some of the art techniques you'll be having a go at in your workshop. Then it's your turn to take over and get painting. Can't remember the last time you picked up a paintbrush? No worries! This London art workshop is full of step-by-step guidance and will help you relax and unwind as you tap into your creative potential.

You'll be shown a range of painting techniques during your London art class and you'll have plenty of time to develop them and experiment. As you express yourself creatively, you'll hear all about colour theory and how to put it into practice in your work.

At the end of your London art class, you'll have a marvellous masterpiece to take home and all the skills to match. Looking for fun group activities to enjoy with your gang? Bring them along and try some painting with a twist together!

Please note:

• If your painting has not dried by the end of the class, we can send it to you afterwards or arrange collection on a suitable day.

• Everything you need to create your own piece of art to take home.
• Biscuits, crisps and cake.
• Tea and coffee.
• An apron to wear whilst painting.
• A small canvas stretcher for your final painting to take home.

• Your imagination and a willingness to learn.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

Tere and Colin Experiences is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and adheres to COVID-19 government guidelines. They won't run this class if they've had a continuous cough, a high temperature, or a loss of or change in their normal sense of taste or smell, in the last 14 days.
