7 hours Class size 1 to 6     label £140

Join us for a full-day workshop where you'll sew your own unique apron using vintage and reclaimed materials in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned sewist or new to the craft, we will guide you through each step, ensuring you leave with a beautiful, handmade apron that you'll be proud to wear.
As part of the day, you'll also be treated to a luxurious zero-waste lunch prepared by Edinburgh-based private dining company Còmhla. Savour delicious, sustainable dishes and receive recipe cards so you can recreate these meals at home, while wearing your new apron! During lunch, Còmhla's Head Chef Joanna will share insights on zero-waste cooking, providing tips and inspiration to help you reduce food waste in your own kitchen.
Come for the sewing, stay for the food, and leave with new skills, a stylish apron, and a fresh perspective on sustainable creativity. We can't wait to spend the day sewing and dining with you!
The menu:
  • Elderflower and fennel cordial
  • Bruschetta, homemade ricotta, tomato, rose, fermented wild garlic
  • Sourdough pasta, summer greens, Corra Linn
