We learnt all the stitches necessary to complete our designs in the three hours. Would definitely recommend for people wanting to give embroidery a go!

Her teaching method is brilliant as you can create a beautiful illustrative sampler, as opposed to just practising different stiches in isolation. It's a very encouraging and motivating way to learn. Group size was good and hot drinks and biscuits much appreciated! Thank you Sammy!

Sammy was so good at explaining all of the different stitches and you get to practise them whilst creating a beautiful embroidery design. Her workshop is so light and airy and the perfect space to spend a few peaceful hours! It would make the perfect gift for someone creative and crafty too!

Made a start on a piece of embroidery and got everything we need to carry on and complete it at home. Also got clear written and visual learning material to take away in case our memory fails us. Learnt a lot in a short space of time. A very pleasant and instructive way to spend a morning. Thoroughly recommended!

Teacher was great - very clear explanations and demonstration of the various stitches at a level and pace which made it very easy to follow. Good sized class - 5participants - meant that she was able to give extra individual support when required. Kit provided was very good quality and comprehensive with written instructions and links to online help with moving forward with project. Would definitely recommend class

The pack you get to take away is so helpful to remind you of anything you might have forgotten from the class. You get to pick your own design which I really liked. Sammy was so helpful and patient which made the session so relaxing. Would highly recommend especially if you have never done a single stitch before!

Really helpful tips and 121 tuition added to the value. Good chat as well so 3 hours passed really quickly. Talked through the basic stitches we would need for our pattern, I chose a dragonfly. Also enjoyed the company and chat with the other people in the class. Thank you everyone for making it a fun morning.

Lots of awesome patterns to pick from as well and a starter kit to take home. I had a wonderful time with the other ladies that were there. Plus there’s biscuits and tea! If you’re thinking of taking this class just take the plunge and do it. You definitely will not regret it!

No prior knowledge or experience of embroidery was required and as well as demonstrations in the class there are written instructions to take away for future reference. There are lots of patterns to select from a beautiful wall of completed items.

Samantha is fun and kind, made the experience fun and creative, and she is great at explaining and also helping each person individually troubleshoot if they encounter an issue. I loved the materials and embroidery kit options she provided for us to choose from; I loved the venue (warm, sunny, and colorful); and I will definitely look to take another class with her if I can. I highly recommend her! She has a beautiful energy, and I’m excited to keep going now!

I learned a few different stitches, how to put the frame together and tighten it up correctly, to how the pictures are actually started and finished off correctly. We each chose a pattern (and one person drew theirs) and we were walked through how to start, and give it six different basic stitches. It was very useful to have the class, and I look forward to finishing my piece! Recommend as a great intro to embroidery as she's makes it quite accessible for beginners!

Sammy was very friendly and helpful, and the small group meant that we could all see clearly as she was demonstrating the different stitches, and she was able to give us all individual help/advice if required. Lots and lots of choice of beautiful embroidery kits all suitable for beginners- so hard to choose!- and the materials, thread, embroidery hoop etc are all very good quality. Very good value for money. I’m pretty much a beginner, and by the end of the session, I felt able to go home and continue confidently with my piece. Would recommend to anyone interested in trying out embroidery for the first time, or as a refresher. Loved every minute! Thank you

What an absolutely brilliant few hours we had and learned a wonderful new hobby that I can’t wait to do more of. The class was really well paced and Sammy did a great job of showing us the different kinds of stitches and giving us practice of them one at a time so we could get the hang of it. We could choose what design kit we wanted to do (amazing variety to choose from) and then we got to take everything home to finish it with our newfound knowledge. Sammy was so warm and friendly and knowledgeable and it was a nice class size - it felt like we were just a group of friends hanging out doing some stitching! Communication beforehand was great too with an email from Sammy with all the details we needed to find the studio and how to contact her on the day if we needed. 10/10.
