What you'll do

In this visible mending workshop, you will learn the beautiful art of repairing and transforming your clothing with creative stitching techniques. Come and mend with us and create unique pieces to take home.

Don't worry if you're new to sewing – this workshop is designed for all levels, including beginners. You'll be guided through the process step by step in a relaxed and supportive environment.

During the class, you can work on a pair of jeans or linen trousers or cotton outfits that need mending. We will give you a free sampler if you don't have anything to mend. All tools, threads, and materials are included in the price of the workshop. Bring your sewing kit along if you have one.

What to bring

1. You can bring your own garment:

Usually this is a pair of jeans or jogging bottoms or jean jacket or a linen garment that needs mending.
Or bring a garment that you want to embellish.

2. If you don't have a garment to mend, don't worry. You can practise the techniques on samplers we provide.
3. Needle & Thread – embroidery threads if you have it.
4. A pair of sharp scissors.
5. Notepad and pen.
