What To Expect
In this hands-on session, you’ll discover:
  • Sew strong, invisible seams to fix tears
  • The knack to sewing on a button that stays put for good.
  • How to fix the hems on trousers or skirts, for a neat finish every time.
Each step is explained clearly, with plenty of time for questions and hands-on practice. Get personal guidance to boost your skills from day one.
All our workshops are beginner-friendly, so whether the last time you picked up a needle was school (or never), you’ll be absolutely fine. Leave with real skills, smart tips, and the start of a more mindful approach to your wardrobe.

What to bring
No need to bring anything. You can practise the techniques on samplers we provide. All materials and support provided.
But if you want to mend your own clothes (optional), please bring:
  • A top or a shirt if it has a button missing
  • A pair of trousers or skirt with the hem ripped
  • A shirt or blouse or jacket (indoors or outdoors) where the armhole or side seam has ripped open
If you don't have a garment to mend, don't worry.
