Tufted Mirror and Mug Rug Workshop

Hosted in a vibrant art space next to Islington Mill in Salford, this inspiring craft class is a fun, beginner-friendly way to dip your toe into tufting. Your expert teacher will demonstrate all the techniques and guide you step-by-step, so even first-time tufters can come and create a treasured piece of textile art.

You'll get the option to use either loop pile, cut pile, or both types of electric tufting gun and get hands-on with every stage of the creative process, from picking your yarn colours to glueing your tufted frame to your mirror.

Please note:

• You must be at least 18 years of age to attend this class.
• Please send your design ideas up to three days before your workshop to allow for preparation. If you have a design in mind, emailing your teacher with the image will ensure the yarn colours you’d like to use are in stock.
• The mirrors are square, but if you’d like to make the outside edge a different shape, please get in contact with your teacher so they can cut out a custom-shaped wooden backing.
• Custom-sized mirror workshops can be requested.
• Your teacher can travel to major UK cities via public transport for this workshop. Transport costs must be reimbursed.
