Join The Dough House and learn how to make your own sourdough bread from start to finish at this fun baking class!

You'll begin by learning to create a sourdough starter from scratch, covering how to maintain and keep it alive before you start baking your delicious loaves and a French fougasse.

Your talented teacher will be on hand to guide you and share bread making tips and tricks, so don't worry if it's your first attempt at sourdough. Suitable for all skill levels, this class is all about getting hands-on with your ingredients in a fun, homely atmosphere.

Finally, you'll learn how to cook shakshuka, a dish of baked eggs, fresh tomatoes and peppers, to enjoy with your freshly baked bread and homemade dips and jams.

Sample menu: (subject to change due to seasonality and availability)

  • Delicious sourdough loaves and a fougasse (bread from the south of France).
  • Shakshuka (baked eggs with fresh tomatoes and peppers - can be made without eggs).
  • Home-made dips and jams.

Welcome to The Dough House!

We run homely cooking and baking experiences where you can gain new skills and at the same time share some fun with family and friends, connect with other people and celebrate a special occasion.

The Dough House was created by Fulden, and started with a deep respect for food and traditions based on family heritage, travels and work experience. Fulden has been baking and cooking with her mother and her grandmother since she was a child.

Her goal is to create an intimate learning experience that is fun-filled, friendly and inviting to both children and adults. She loves to get people excited about spending time together in the kitchen.

Professionally, Fulden has a training and development and management background in the corporate food and beverage industry. She also ran her own boutique cafe in Warwickshire.
