Join Batik Ying for a captivating workshop where you'll learn the art of modern contemporary batik painting and lantern making. Discover the unique blend of traditional Malaysian batik techniques and modern art as you create your very own batik lantern to take home. Don't worry if you're new to batik, this workshop is designed for beginners, so everyone can join in on the fun!

During this 2-hour workshop, you'll delve into the history and techniques of batik, including the tools and materials needed for batik canting. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with mixing colors to achieve the perfect tones and shades for your batik lantern. With expert guidance from a batik artist, you'll paint on a pre-waxed modern batik lantern and gain valuable tips and tricks along the way. Rest assured, all the materials and tools you'll need are provided.
