We are Britt and Andrew. Britt’s journey with jewellery making started in 2012 as a hobby that has slowly blossomed into what it is today - Noctua Jewellery & Workshops. Andrew joined Britt in September 2017 helping out with workshops and learning about the business.

Britt's love for jewellery started when she was a child and a relative bought her a beading kit. She delved in and out of jewellery making until she was 15 and finally discovered the holy grail of jewellery making: silversmithing. Much to her father’s delight, she purchased a blowtorch online and then began practising at home, continuously saving up for new tools and books. After many attempts, both failed and successful, she decided to find an apprenticeship to develop her skills, eventually finding one, 358 miles from home in beautiful Cornwall. Britt returned to Liverpool in February 2017 with a drive to give other people the joy of making their own silver jewellery.

Lovely, personable teacher who went through everything step by step, at the pace of the slowest participant to make sure everyone was accommodated. Four people attended the class, all four left with a very different pendant - lots of room for imagination!

Andrew our Instructor was absolutely great, he was extremely knowledgeable and patient. We had a great time and we are so happy with our final products! I bought this as a birthday gift for my sister and we had a fabulous time.

Over 2 1/2 hours you are guided through making a bangle. The instructions are given clearly by a knowledgeable and friendly teacher. The price paid was for a single bangle but we were offered the opportunity of making another one on payment of £30. Having just paid the course fee this seemed a bit steep but the other class members did go ahead with the extra payment.
It was a good taster of jewelry making
