Ring or Pendant Jewellery Making Class

In this introduction to stone setting jewellery making class in Liverpool, you'll learn to create a beautiful piece of jewellery featuring a semi-precious cabochon set in sterling silver.

You'll begin this full-day jewellery class by designing your piece, either a ring or pendant. First you’ll select your stone. This will be a simple setting, but completed to the highest standard, giving you all of the skills you need to continue making this kind of jewellery on your own. You'll select your cabochon from your teachers' beautiful range of stones, choosing something to suit your style.

Guided by an expert team of tutors, you'll learn to size the bezel needed for a stone, cut the right length of your bezel wall, saw out the backplate of the setting, solder a setting together, polish your piece, and finally set your stone to create your stunning, unique piece of jewellery.

• There is no strict age limit for this jewellery making class but please enquire before booking for anyone under the age of sixteen to confirm that the workshop will be suitable for them.
