In this lighthearted and social session, you'll be provided with a pre-sealed terracotta pot and saucer along with an array of vibrant vitreous tiles, glass gems, and reclaimed china. If you have any personal treasures like sea glass, old jewellery, or broken china at home, you're more than welcome to bring them along to give your project an extra sentimental spark.Your teacher, Jacky, has been a mosaic enthusiast for over 15 years and loves incorporating beachcombed finds into her work. She’ll guide you through the process in a supportive, low-pressure environment, ensuring you feel confident using the equipment provided. Whether you're a complete beginner or already feel artistic, you'll find plenty of inspiration in the welcoming atmosphere of this Georgian mews studio.During the workshop, you will:

• Select your materials – Choose from a range of bright tiles and reclaimed treasures.
• Design your pattern – Map out your unique layout for both the pot and saucer.
• Master the techniques – Learn how to arrange and fix your mosaic pieces with expert guidance.
• Grout your creation – Complete your funky pot so it's ready for display.

This hands-on experience is the perfect way to switch off from the outside world and find a moment of mindfulness while learning a rewarding new skill. You'll leave the session with a sense of pride and a handmade keepsake that serves as a cheerful reminder of your creative afternoon.Please note:

• The workshop space is on the first floor and does not have lift access.
• The studio is an open-plan living space and is not nut-free. Please disclose any skin or food allergies before attending.
• These workshops are designed for adults. If you wish to bring a teenager under 16, please check with the host before booking as they may need to be accompanied.
• Bookings are non-refundable as they ensure the artists are paid a fair fee, though you may transfer your spot to a friend if you can no longer make it.
