What you'll do
Join us at our cosy studio, in the gorgeous venue "Two More Years, " in Fish Island, Hackney Wick, for an immersive botanical tile crafting experience with artist Abigail Yentis. Dive into the enchanting world of leaf and botanical pressing as you create stunning tiles to adorn your space.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn the art of botanical tile crafting under the expert guidance of Abigail Yentis. Experiment with different leaves and botanicals to create unique imprints on your tiles, and let your imagination soar as you design and compose your botanical pieces of art.
But the creativity doesn't end there! After completing your botanical tiles, the air drying clay will need to dry for 3-5 days, then they will be sanded and varnished. You will then have the option to either join us for a follow-up workshop where you can paint and enhance the plant imprints, adding an extra layer of depth and vibrancy to your creations. Alternatively, the artist can paint them at your request. Both of these options are each an extra £15.
