What you'll do

Explore a new craft and create beautiful terrazzo coasters using jesmonite. Join your friendly teacher from Manzo Design London and ask questions about the world of sustainable homeware pieces as you use an eco-friendly material.

In this class you will learn to mix and cast Jesmonite, a water-based resin material. It is solvent-free and has no VOC's making it safe to use and environmentally friendly.

During the craft workshop you will learn how to:

Mix and cast Jesmonite into silicone moulds.
Work with pigments to create your own bespoke base colour for your coasters (Terrazzo chips will be premade).
Sand and polish your coasters to reveal your one-of-a-kind terrazzo design.
Seal the coasters, by the end of the workshop they will be ready for you to take home and use!

Price includes a drink from the nearby Hangar Bar, either a house wine, house drafts or soft drink.

Manzo Design London, all started as an experiment in a garage in 2019, and then refining our expertise in our studio in Hackney Wick ever since.

Creating decorative pieces, using variables of Jesmonite, which is an acrylic water based, sustainable material to create Marble, Ombre and other creative designs.

Each piece is carefully and intricately handmade and therefore unique, so you’ll be sure to own a one off piece of design.

I had a great time in the workshop. It’s a fun and easy task that anyone can do, and once you learn it you can buy the materials to do more at home. I went alone and was happy to find there were others who did as well and I could chat to. Nicky was a great instructor, made sure we were having fun throughout. The coasters came out beautiful, just as I wanted them!
