Bring friends and family together and learn how to make a beautiful everlasting wreath to display at home. Under the guidance of an experienced local florist, you'll learn how to make a gorgeous wreath out of dried flowers, which not only look amazing but will last much longer than fresh flowers.
Flower arranging is a lovely craft for helping you relax and unwind after a long week, helping you get into a meditative flow state as you use your creativity to craft a wreath to suit your own tastes.
During the class, you will learn:
- How to construct a wreath base using natural materials.
- Simple wiring techniques that ensure stems are held securely.
- Wreath construction.
- Methods for drying flowers at home.
- Which flowers to dry at home.
- An introduction to colour relationships.
Everything you need to create your arrangement will be provided. You don’t need any previous experience, your teacher welcomes all abilities and is on hand to guide you through every step.
I am Victoria, a fully qualified florist, makeup artist and designer with 20 years creative experience. I am a curious person fascinated by 'process' and how things are done. I love to share my knowledge and skills and deliver this in a playful and experimental way into my classes. I love to see creativity, community and confidence grow through floristry, makeup artistry, art and play.
