What you'll do

This is a fantastic opportunity to get creative with mixed media, guided by one of our expert Hobbycraft Artisans. You can choose to follow along with your own materials or book the class with a craft kit included. 

The class will take an online webinar format, giving you the chance to watch a live demonstration of the project while also being able to ask questions. The host will show you how to combine fineliner techniques with wet-on-wet watercolour work.

You’ll start by setting out the floral design in pencil, before making your drawings permanent in fineliner pen. With your design complete, you’ll then discover how to highlight and colour the drawing with watercolours to bring your piece vividly to life.

You can paint along, or you can work on your mixed media piece at any pace you choose. Each step will be shown and explained, and you’ll gradually build up a vibrant and detailed floral piece.

Along with this floral tutorial, we also have other mixed media classes available from £5 if you wish to try even more techniques and broaden your skillset further.
