What you'll do
This weaving workshop is for you to explore colour, yarn, and fibre in an unstructured and intuitive way. It offers a whole-body, meditative, satisfying, and relaxing few hours at a bargain price.
You will leave the studio with an extraordinary piece of handwoven cloth that you can use in your sewing practise or proudly hang on your wall. A loom will be pre-set for you, approximately 30cm wide, on a blank base or in the colours black or white.
If this is your first time or it's been a while, we will be very hands-on in showing you the ropes. For our wonderful return weavers, just rock up to the loom and weave on, my friends!
During the session, we will discuss the anatomy of a loom, the tools, and the names of the equipment. We will play with texture, fibre, and colour, and experiment with simple shapes and a few creative techniques.
Perfect for beginners with zero previous experience.

Second Floor is The Weaving Studio – Filled to the brim with yarns and fibres for you to create something magical and uniquely yours. Beautiful high ceilings and spiritually peaceful. You will love it up there.
