What you'll do
If you're looking for fun things to do in London, this relaxing painting class is a great way to learn something new while unwinding.
After the Sketchbook Experience Introduction at Solo Craft Shop, MJ The Art Traveller (known for appearing on Portrait Artist of the Year) will be hosting an immersive painting workshop at Lees Spiritual Healing. The outcome of the workshop is to provide a strong focus between people's ways of seeing together and unique interactions with colour.
The session will take place near the entrance of Spiritual Healing, Walthamstow. As you arrive, you will be welcomed by the sounds of Audio Sensory and Ambient Music.
Attendees will be learning from a Sky Arts TV artist who explores painting within the expanded fields. This will make the class seem extra special and provide extra good value.
Throughout this relaxing London painting class, we will be experimenting with Acrylic and Alcohol Inks and producing some paint pouring mosaics on gesso boards. The element of this focus is to understand how our feelings and life experiences can transition when we are meditating, as well as letting go of anxiety/negative energy.
You are more than welcome to work in your own painting specialisms. Ink, brushes, boards, and materials will be provided.
All abilities are welcome, whether you come along with friends or individually.

Your teacher
Michael, AKA MJ The Art Traveller, is a London-based mixed-media artist and who is best known for appearing on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2019/20.
After graduating with a Masters in Fine Art and appearing on Sky Arts TV, he has gone on to publicly sell work at craft fairs, plus hosting art workshops for Adults who are diagnosed with Autism and ADHD.
'Based on life experiences and creative wellbeing, I'm looking host Sketchbook Social Events across London that provides a strong focus and connect people's Ways of Seeing together, with experimental Fine Art Drawing techniques.
