Sketchbook Drawing Experience

Sketch from your senses whilst you drink coffee and enjoy creating art.

During this workshop, you will learn how to sketch from your senses while enjoying a cup of coffee at Little Louie Cafe in Elephant and Castle, London. Guided by a Sky Arts TV artist, you will explore drawing within expanded fields, using ink/brush pens and pencils to illustrate mark-making, textures, and stories behind travelling. You are encouraged to bring a small sketchbook or pad and an open mind to delve into your creative side in a unique way.

The class will be held at Solo Craft Shop, providing a cosy and inspiring environment for you to unleash your creativity. Whether attending with friends or solo, this workshop welcomes all skill levels. The experience will challenge your perspective on drawing and leave you with a newfound appreciation for the art form.

Michael, AKA MJ The Art Traveller, is a London-based mixed-media artist and who is best known for appearing on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2019/20.

After graduating with a Masters in Fine Art and appearing on Sky Arts TV, he has gone on to publicly sell work at craft fairs, plus hosting art workshops for Adults who are diagnosed with Autism and ADHD.


'Based on life experiences and creative wellbeing, I'm looking host Sketchbook Social Events across London that provides a strong focus and connect people's Ways of Seeing together, with experimental Fine Art Drawing techniques.
